stina-posip-2025
Stina Pošip 2025

Stina Pošip 2025 is made from Pošip, Dalmatia’s most significant indigenous white grape, offering a taste of Croatia’s distinctive coastal wine heritage. Its appeal lies in the variety’s aromatic character and mineral-driven style, with the grape also known for its potential to develop with age.

Tasting Notes
A tasting note supplied for an earlier vintage describes a reserved nose with hints of wet stone and restrained fruit, followed by a taut, saline-mineral palate with relatively gentle acidity. The wine was noted for gradually opening in the glass, revealing a mild yet spicy character. As this note refers to the 2015 vintage, it should be treated as a guide to the style rather than a definitive description of the 2025 bottling.

Pošip’s aromatic intensity and mineral character can give the variety ageing potential, though the best drinking window for the 2025 vintage is not specified.

Production
The grapes are sourced from new vineyards around Grabica on the island of Brač. Further details about the vineyard conditions, harvest methods and vinification are not provided.

Food & Serving
Try it with grilled fish, shellfish, or simply prepared seafood, where its saline-mineral profile can complement the flavours of the sea. Serve well chilled, around 9–11°C. A short time in the glass can help the wine open; decanting is not essential.
