Its deep structure is balanced by fine tannins and a long, persistent finish.

Already compelling after its time in bottle, it can continue to develop with careful cellaring. Store it in suitable conditions to preserve its remaining aging potential.

Production
Bassolino di Sopra is a single-vineyard Brunello made from 100% Sangiovese. Pian dell’Orino farms biodynamically and takes a meticulous approach to its vineyards; specific details about the vineyard’s soils, harvest methods and winemaking are not provided.

Food & Serving
Serve at 16–18°C with beef, lamb, game, truffle dishes or mature hard cheeses. Given the wine’s age, open it in advance and taste before deciding whether to decant; a gentle decant can help it open, but avoid leaving it exposed for too long.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0874/0614/9969/files/pian-dellorino-brunello-di-montalcino-bassolino-di-sopra-2010-0.png?v=1791751855
