Made with fruit from old-vine growers, it also reflects a commitment to preserving the region’s historic vineyards and winemaking heritage.

Tasting Notes
The 2024 shows a deep ruby-red colour, with aromas of ripe cherry, blackberry, violet and dark plum, layered with hints of spice, liquorice and mineral notes. On the palate, juicy, concentrated fruit meets lively freshness and silky tannins, leading to a long, balanced finish with a distinct mineral edge. Specific guidance on its aging potential is not available.

Production
The fruit comes from a network of small growers in Ribera del Duero, where old Tempranillo vines—often trained as bush vines—grow across a range of distinctive sites. Sustainable cultivation and the preservation of these historic vineyards are central to the PSI project. Details about harvesting and vinification for the 2024 vintage have not been provided.

Food & Serving
Enjoy with roast lamb, grilled pork, or mushroom dishes, whose savoury flavours complement the wine’s dark fruit and spice. Serve at around 16–18°C; a brief decant can help the wine open up, particularly when young.

Producer
Dominio de Pingus was founded by Peter Sisseck, whose Pingus is one of Spain’s most celebrated wines.
