The palate is full and concentrated, yet stays poised, with fresh acidity, fine tannins and a long, balanced finish.

Enjoyable now for its expressive fruit, Les Souteyrades also has the structure and concentration to develop in the cellar. No specific drinking window is provided.

Production
The blend is 80% Grenache and 20% Mourvèdre, with old vines contributing concentration and character. After vinification, the wine matures for 12 months in large foudres, allowing the fruit, spice and regional character to remain prominent. Harvesting methods and further vinification details are not specified.

Food & Serving
Serve at around 16–18°C with roast lamb, grilled or braised meats, game, or a Provençal vegetable dish. A short decant of 30–60 minutes can help open the wine, particularly when serving it young.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0874/0614/9969/files/domaine-saint-damien-gigondas-les-souteyrades-2023-0.png?v=1792921380
