The palate is rich and creamy, with ripe yellow fruit, honey and citrus balanced by bright acidity and a long, sweet finish.\n\nAfter more than a decade in bottle, the wine has gained complexity while retaining freshness and structure. It can be enjoyed now or cellared further.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eProduction\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe grapes come from Château Rieussec in Fargues, in the Sauternes appellation, where conditions in 2011 favoured the development of Botrytis cinerea, or noble rot. Sémillon forms the main part of the blend, complemented by Sauvignon Blanc and a smaller proportion of Muscadelle. Harvesting is done by hand in successive passes, selecting only grapes with the desired degree of botrytis; further vinification details are not provided.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eFood \u0026amp; Serving\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cbr\u003eServe lightly chilled, around 10–12°C, with foie gras, blue cheese or fruit-based desserts.
