On the nose, concentrated orchard-fruit aromas are joined by subtle hints of honey and caramel. The palate is dense yet lively, with fresh acidity and a sense of structure; the oak becomes less prominent as the wine opens. Jasper Morris has highlighted its balance of fruit, acidity and structure. No specific drinking window is provided.

Food & Serving
Its concentration and freshness should suit rich seafood such as lobster or scallops, as well as roast poultry with a creamy sauce. Serve lightly chilled, around 10–12°C, and allow it time in the glass to open; a brief decant may help reveal its aromas.

Producer
Benjamin Leroux is a Burgundy winemaker and négociant based in Beaune, known for working with wines from across the region.
